Our Story

Founded in 2010, AfghanExplorer was born from a passion to share the breathtaking beauty and rich cultural heritage of Afghanistan with the world.

Our founder, Sajidullah Raeed, returned to his homeland after years abroad with a vision to create sustainable tourism that benefits local communities while offering travelers authentic experiences.

What started as a small team of three local guides has grown into Afghanistan's leading tourism company, with offices in Kabul, Herat, and Bamiyan. We've successfully hosted over 5,000 international visitors, each leaving with a deeper understanding and appreciation of our country.
